Don’t Let Me Down

The final public performance of the Beatles

On 30 January 1969 (It’s cold at that time of year)

Something about this performance encompasses a generation coming to an end.

There is a look of hardship on the faces from all the arguments as they all sing in such coordinated ease. Not even knowing how close they all were.

The business men in the background seem disenchanted and even turn away from one of the greatest bands in histories final performance not knowing how precious the moment was.

There is something quite breathtaking and heartbreaking about this video in so many ways.

It was a time where music could change they way people thought. Some bands captivated the world and they really were that good!
